Collaboration for revit || BIM Cloud || pCloud : Free Cloud Storage

I'd like to share my recent experience using Pcloud as a way to create a WAN for a Workset enabled project.

About Pcloud :
Cloud storage services are great for sharing files with friends and families, keeping documents in sync between all of your devices, and so much more. Free cloud storage is even better!
While some bandwidth limits apply, there seems to be no limit to the size of files you can upload, so feel free to sync large media files with pCloud.

The service is available for all desktop and mobile platforms – users can also log in via the website. The company itself is registered in Switzerland which has strong privacy laws.

Price: 15GB free. Premium Plus 2 TB – monthly subscription for $9.99

Locate the Central File :

After Download Pcloud Program we can use Drive Letter mapping to the Pcloud folder were the Central file is kept.
First create a folder in Pcloud for the project and get your Pcloud sharing set up.
Everyone that accesses the Central file needs to setup pcloud program and they should have Pcloud account and then all of them use the same drive letter, whatever nobody is using otherwise.
When you create your Central file or any later Save As, you must navigate via the drive letter, not any other way or it will screw it up.

Create your local:

Again, navigate via the drive letter and create your Local somewhere else not in the Pcloud folder.
Confirm in the Revit Synchronize dialog box that the Central File Location is via the drive letter, not anything else.

Pcloud syncing:

We found Pcloud incredibly fast in updating the main Central file whenever we SWC for the size of the file and considering it's up and downloading, at the same time. I think it's doing a sector sync.
The Central backup folder is also synced and that's where the problems are going to occur.

Sharing with Others

In the Pcloud file management, After click Folder of the Central file you can share folder and Invite anyone you want to use this central file.
